I while ago I was fortunate enough to photograph the wedding of Ken & Leesa up at Campaspe House in Woodend. Ken has Scottish heritage in his family, therefore there was a Scottish theme for the day. It all started with Francine and her family up at Hurstbridge at the start of the wedding documentary. The ceremony was at St Johns in Heidelburg and the reception was at Rydges on Bell St. Don’t forget the little joy ride in the limo
It’s been a while since I have been at Werribee Mansion for a wedding – but I must admit it was the perfect setting last Friday for Jenni and John’s wedding. Jenni is English and John is Scottish – both wanted the feel of old England for their wedding day with the lovely mansion backdrop and picturesque gardens. My lovely lady, Tanya asked me the other day to help out her friend Amanda with some photographs for her portfolio. We travelled up to Riddells Creek (near Mt Macedon) at Tanya’s parent hobby farm for the photoshoot. It was meant to be a day off for me but it was a pleasure helping Amanda out. Photography by Daniel. Every year I team up with Linda Gorringe Couture in the Block Arcade for for a shoot of some of their magnificent dresses. This time we went to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, NAB building at Docklands and the Block Arcade. Thanks to Catherine, David and Linda and also Lisa from Living Dolls Makeup and Hair. Colina and Sarah were absolutely fantastic as models for the dresses. I was also able to drag my beautiful partner – Tanya along to assist me – she was absolutely wonderful I used a Nikon D3x for the day sourced from Nikon Australia to play with along with my D3 – thankyou to Julie from Nikon. A friend of mine and Tanya’s – Jacinta – asked me personally to take a few pregnancy photographs for her (I did it as a gift). Now – being mainly a wedding and event photographer I felt a little out of my depth         What a fantastic location! The weather was mild, everything was green. Another great couple – the wedding was a few weeks ago now – have had no time to blog – too many weddings Emily, my associate covered me the other day and shot the wedding of Stephanie & David in picturesque location of Yea. But hey, I thought we can make an afternoon out of it starting with all of us having a leisurely lunch up at the Tin Roof Cafe on Keilor rd then into some portraits with a makeshift portable studio set up in the display area where we meet clients.
